Handmade headless 6 string electric travel / mini guitar project

Yo personalmente compré, trabajé y terminé las maderas para construir esta guitarra, pero era demasiado inexperto para hacer un buen trabajo, así que dejé este proyecto de lado durante casi 10 años y ahora decidí deshacerme de él. Aunque la guitarra parece terminada, la vendo como proyecto, ya que hay trabajo que hacer para convertirla en una guitarra tocable.

La guitarra originalmente estaba destinada a ser una Blackmachine de 27" con aspecto de barítono, pero después de estropear el mástil (que se vendió aparte), ahora le he añadido un mástil sin pala prefabricado para convertir la guitarra en un modelo sin pala a escala estándar de 25,5".

El cuerpo está hecho de dos piezas de caoba africana con una tapa de korina negra, terminada con pintura acrílica negra y resina epoxi (necesita un reacabado ya que ahora está irregular y mal hecho). El mástil es de arce de una sola pieza con un diapasón de ébano de 24 trastes y ribetes blancos en los laterales. Los trastes son un poco afilados, por lo que también necesitan algo de trabajo.

El mástil, la pastilla y el puente no tienen marca y se compraron en eBay. El puente y la cejuela bloquean bien las cuerdas y la guitarra mantiene la afinación muy bien.

La pastilla se probó en otra guitarra, funciona y suena bien, pero no la soldé bien en esta (o sospecho que la entrada jack no funciona) y, por lo tanto, la guitarra no emite ningún sonido si se conecta a un amplificador.

La vendo a este precio teniendo en cuenta los materiales y los costes de mano de obra. No aceptaré ofertas muy bajas.

I personally purchased, worked and finished the woods to build this guitar but I was too inexpert to make a job well done, so I left this project apart for almost 10 years and now decided to get rid of it. Even if the guitar looks like finished, I’m selling it as a project as there’s work that needs to be done to turn it into a playable guitar.

The guitar was originally meant to be a 27” baritone Blackmachine look-a-like but after messing up the neck (that was sold apart), I’ve now added a pre-made headless neck to turn the guitar into a standard 25.5” scale headless model.

The body is made of two pieces african mahogany with a black korina top, finished with black acrylic paint and epoxy resin (needs a refinish as it’s uneven and badly done now). The neck is a one piece maple with a 24 frets ebony fretboard and white binding on the sides. Frets are a bit sharp so they need some work too.

Neck, pickup and bridge are all unbranded and bought from eBay. The bridge and nut are locking the strings well and the guitar holds the tuning really well.

The pickup was tested on another guitar, it works and sounds good, but I didn’t solder it well on this one (or I suspect that the jack input is not working) and therefore the guitar doesn’t make a sound if connected to an amp.

Selling at this price just considering the materials and work costs. I will not accept lowball offers.
