Alguien escribió:Due to the design and nature of the BOSS FET switching and circuit design some BOSS pedals automatically turn on when power is added, some start in the off state. This is by design and not a fault of any unit.
If running on Batteries, power is turn on when a jack lead is plugged into the Input (or in some cases the output like the RC series) and the same for most running on a PSU that an input (or output) jack need to be present inside the pedal for the circuit to active. This is a power saving measure especially for battery use.
BOSS pedals DO NOT remember the state of the activity before being powered down and will always start up the way they were designed. For example if you leave a pedal turned off and unplug the jack lead(s) when powering it up, if by design it powers up (LED engages and effect is on) automatically it will always do that.
Whether they use a PSB or a PSA BOSS supply it doesn’t matter as both are 9 volt, centre pin negative and the pedal will accept the mA (milliamps) it needs. You will only get issues if using anything higher than 9 volt.
