Guns N' Roses, "Paradise City" guitar lesson. We're using a pair of Wampler Pedals to achieve the intro and lead tones in this song. The Wampler Nirvana chorus can attain the bright, swirling sound heard in the intro of Paradise city with its effect tone set high. Although just 3 chords, the melodic picking and use of a constant G note on the high E string lends a graceful sound that is instantly recognizable. For Slash's famous Marshall tone, we're using the Wampler Plextortion which has many EQ and voice selections to nail his midrange growl. Paradise City also uses a tuning dropped half a step to give the main riff on the low E string a chunkier tone. Enjoy your daily guitar lesson.
