Alguien escribió:first thing i did before even plugging this to the wall i opened the chassis and checked under the hood, and was surprised how well this was made, didn't notice any cheap shortcuts anywhere, should be as reliable as any other tube amp
Alguien escribió:overall, i'm very pleased with this amp, i will eventually replace the speaker someday but it's not necessary byu any means, this stock speaker is most likely unstamped jensen which is not bad. this little amp even looks sweeter than the epiphone valve amps, and they're from the sam factory anyway so why pay more for the same better looking stuff?

I've only recently started to play the guitar with a serious attitude, but I've been in the music business a long time and I think - in all honesty - I can say that I know a great bit about tone and tone colour. It was my objective to replace tubes and speaker as soon as I got the thing, but having played it I think I won't bother untill they're worn out. This amp actually sounds pretty good to great right out of the box. At low levels you get a nice clean warm sound, cranking it up you get a nice tubesound, which is easy controlable. The EQ gives you the opportunity to change your sound but don't expect it to do that dramatically (if you need to change your sound more than this amp let's you, maybe you should think about getting a guitar that suits you better) The only thing I'm about to do is make/buy a 2x12" speaker cab (probably with celestions) to get a fuller sound, but don't get me wrong, the 10" speaker already does a really nice job.
