Recientemente he visto que Steve Vai subió un vídeo a sus redes sociales donde mostraba esta técnica que el mismo define así:
It’s a technique that I call “joint shifting." This is where you bend a note while fretting another, but I wanted to do this technique with a combination of double and triple stop single note bends while fretting other notes and releasing bends. After considerable experimenting, I discovered it created a unique sounding passage. You can hear this technique on a few sections of the song. I certainly hope other ambitious guitar player see the potential in this technique and take it to the moon!

Basicamente nos explica que el "joint shifting" es una técnica que consiste en hacer un "bend" mientras tocas otra nota, el quíso hacer está técinca un poco más exagerada y combinó más notas haciendo más de un "bend" simultaneamente...
Que opináis de este "rompededos"?
Para mi gusto personal el sonido que se obtiene bastante extraño pero me llama mucho la atención a la vez
